Parking in most mountain towns is tight; Breckenridge is certainly no exception. Convenient, in-town parking is at a premium during the busiest parts of both summer and winter season. During the Town of Breckenridge town council meeting on July 25th, 2017, Mayor Eric Mamula and the council reviewed a comprehensive study of locations and options.
The council has decided to proceed with a serious investigation and budgeting for a parking structure at the Tiger Dredge lot close to the River Walk Center that would extend a bit in to F-lot that would add about 234 spaces. The lot would be designed so that at its highest level it would be level with Park Avenue. An additional expansion of the Ice Arena parking lot for visitors arriving from the south and employees may add a few hundred more spaces.
